Game 5 was absolutely epic. It was an intense 48 min with both teams giving it their all and leaving everything on the court. Jimmy Butler said it himself, "We are still here, and nobody's going home tonight." The man stayed true to his word, because of the 48 minutes of the game, he only had a 49-second break.

The Heat were a different team in Game 5. They came in with fire and determination to push a game 6 on the Lakers. They are not giving up, and that is the same team that we love to watch. As expected, game 5 came with epic plays.

In the first quarter, we see Lebron James with a nice pass to Anthony Davis for the one-handed shot to the basket. As Crowder shoots for the three and misses, Robinson pulls a Davis and is there to complete the shot. This is the type of mentality that the Heat should maintain going forward in the game. Being ready for the unexpected and being aggressive, but smart at the same time. Nunn was a surprise addition to this game. He was great at setting up plays for his teammates, readily available to catch the rebounds, and shooting down the threes.

The first half ends with LAL 56 MIA 60

The first half is essential to see where the team's head is, and it will define who will have the upper hand, but it is never said in stone. In the 3rd quarter, we saw that the Lakers came back a little more aggressive. The Heat had 6 turnovers in the 3rd quarter, and these are things that should be avoided as much as possible because they can be a deal-breaker and deciding factor or who will win the game.

Bam Adebayo with a nice block at the end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter gets way more intense from the Heat losing their lead on the Lakers to tying the game to coming back on top again. It was a whirlwind of emotions and excitement. We see Herro playing with more confidence, Butler coming in with some nice shots in the paint, and Robinson with some nice three-point shots. As the game wound down, the last 3 minutes of the game was the most intense.

Duncan Robinson making a nice 27-foot three-point jumper. Lebron sent to the line twice and makes three of the four shots. Jimmy Butler makes a 20-foot jump shot putting the Heat back on top. James for the layup and one point foul shot. Jimmy Butler for another 7-foot two-point shot. James then misses the layup, rebounds his own shot, and closes the two-point shot. Jimmy Butler gets sent to the line and makes 3 out 4 foul shots. Anthony Davis for two with 22 seconds left in the game. Danny Green then misses the three-point jumper. Herro comes back into the game and gets sent to the line twice, making 3 for the 4 foul shots keeping the Heat on top and earning them the win for Game 5.

With the number of back-to-back plays in the last 3 minutes of the overall game, it gave me all the feels, and I think my blood pressure and heart rate went up. Looking forward to Game 6, and I am expecting the team to come in with that intensity and drive to push it Game 7 and win the 2020 Finals.
